Assistant Engineer

Job Responsibilities

Resorts in both Sri Lanka and the Maldives Cinnamon Hotels & Resorts is a member of John Keells Holdings PLC, one of the largest listed conglomerates in Sri Lanka.

The Assistant Chief Engineer will assist the Chief Engineer in developing and implementing strategies for the Engineering Department to ensure productivity and all standards are being met. This role ensures that all technical supplies for the Hotel are of good quality and adhere to hotel standards while maintaining the cost. You will establish and administer the Preventative Maintenance Program and Energy Management System. Furthermore, this role will coordinate and carry out all renovation and maintenance programs while ensuring the projects are completed according to specifications and on time by studying the work schedule. Moreover, you will liaise and coordinate with architects, interior designers, and consultants regarding upgrading the hotel property

Do you have strong written and verbal communication, decision-making, and organizational skills? Do you have a degree or similar qualification in Electrical/ Mechanical engineering? Do you have a minimum of 3 years of work experience in a similar role in a five-star hotel environment?
