Assistant Manager, Human Resources
Job Responsibilities
The Assistant Manager, Human Resources will be responsible for assisting the Human Resource Manager in overseeing the hotel's HR operation while planning and implementing new HR strategies. You will ensure the HR policies and procedures are formulated across all departments and provide continuous human resources improvements. You will support the hotel management in running a healthy hotel operation by acting as a bridge between the management and the employees and ensuring the employees are happy and productive.
Responsibilities
- Proactively prevent grievances and disputes and take remedial measures by administering grievance-handling procedures and rational approaches to discipline management.
- Conduct self-audits to ensure the hotel employees comply with relevant health and safety regulations.
- Conduct workforce planning and budgeting.
- Formulate a dynamic recruitment strategy to ensure we have the right employees to deliver our guests an outstanding guest experience.
- Carry out employee engagement initiatives to ensure we have engaged employees.
Person Specifications
Qualifications
- More than three years of exposure in a similar Human Resources role.
Required Skills
- Exposure to all facets of the Human Resources function.
- Experience with different HRIS systems.
- Excellent Microsoft Office skills.
- People-centric approach.
- Ability to function independently.
