Manager, Food & Beverage

Job Responsibilities

  • Manage the overall operation of the F&B department to deliver an excellent Guest experience.
  • Plan and manage F&B operations and team to deliver and maintain service excellence by ensuring delivery of brand standards and achievement of key business objectives.
  • Assist in all administrative functions and supervision of operations of F&B department.
  • Oversee F&B inventory and ensures proper inventory controls are in place while implementing cost effective strategies for F&B operations.
  • Oversee the overall F&B budget by reviewing financial transactions and monitoring the budget to ensure an efficient operation, and ensure expenditures stay within budget limitations.
  • Ensure all service and culinary presentations, activities and quality in all assigned F&B venues are in accordance to set quality standards.
  • Liaising with government agencies.
  • Implementing hygiene and safety standards.
  • Scheduling training programs for all the staff of the F&B department.

Person Specifications

  • A Degree or professional qualification in hotel Management or equivalent.
  • Passion for sharing your experience with a diverse team to aid in their personal and professional development.
  • Proven record of effective team management, communication and leadership skills
  • Excellent leadership, interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Commitment to delivering a high level of customer service.
  • Up to date knowledge on food and beverages international trends and best practices
  • Ability to understand and meet financial targets.
  • Conflict resolution - Flexibility & Adaptability.
