Analyst, Revenue Management
Job Responsibilities
• Assist in development and implementation of effective inventory and pricing strategies based on future demand forecasts, current trends, and historical data.
• Support the Revenue Manager with essential administrative duties and fulfill reporting and analysis tasks to ensure the RM strategies are executed efficiently and pro-actively.
• Monitor competitive pricing and understand the impact of relative pricing decisions on property performance.
• Perform competitor checks and report as appropriate and assist in developing promotions and strategies over different demand periods.
• Assist the Revenue Manager in preparing longer-term forecasts, achieving hotel forecast accuracy goals, participating in the property's weekly Revenue Management/Strategy Meetings, and acting as the Revenue Leader's representative when needed.
• Prepare and maintain a balanced scorecard for the critical Revenue Management & E-commerce metrics.
• Review and analyze data on an ongoing and end of month basis and provide a monthly report on production, trends, booking, and stay patterns, channel analysis and evaluate the distribution channel performance and potential reasons for this performance.
• Review demographic targets, search engine traffic, and media buying.
Person Specifications
• A Degree/ Higher Diploma/ professional qualification from a recognized institution.
• Minimum 3 years of work experience within the field of Global Hospitality Operations or a similar role.
• Expert knowledge of various business principles such as marketing strategy, revenue analysis, and Online Travel Agent functions.
• Thorough understanding of Hotel Distribution, PMS & Revenue Management systems
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
