Assistant Manager, PR & Corporate Communications
Job Responsibilities
Support Strategic PR Initiatives: Assist in developing and executing comprehensive public relations strategies to enhance the brand presence of CH&R across key source markets as per the defined PR story verticals.
Media Engagement: Help design and implement media engagement plans, fostering relationships with journalists, influencers, and key stakeholders to maximize brand visibility.
PR Metrics and Reporting: Utilize PR measurement tools to evaluate the effectiveness of communication strategies and provide data-driven insights for optimization.
Crisis Communication: Assist in the development and execution of crisis communication plans to protect and enhance the organization’s reputation during challenging situations.
Content Creation: Contribute to crafting compelling brand narratives as per the defined PR story verticals that resonate with target audiences, highlighting CH&R’s unique offerings and values.
Cross-Departmental & JKH Group Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, Sales, HR, Sustainability, Finance, JKH Corporate Communications, John Keells Foundation, Group Sustainability and PR & Comms leads at Sectors (including Cinnamon Life) to ensure cohesive messaging and integration of PR initiatives.
Sustainability and Diversity: Promote CH&R’s ESG initiatives by integrating sustainable and socially responsible practices into corporate communications.
Team Support: Support the PR and communications team, fostering a culture of innovation, accountability, and professional growth.
Trend Analysis: Monitor industry trends, public perception, and competitive landscapes to adapt PR strategies proactively.
