Executive, Digital Marketing

Job Responsibilities

We currently have an exciting opportunity for an Executive – Box Office & Digital Marketing to join Cinnamon Hotels & Resorts. Cinnamon Hotels & Resorts is Sri Lanka's largest hotel owner, with a portfolio of 17 Hotels and Resorts in both Sri Lanka and the Maldives. Cinnamon Hotels & Resorts is a member of John Keells Holdings PLC, one of the largest listed conglomerates in Sri Lanka. The selected candidate will be responsible for managing box office operations and supporting the planning and execution of digital marketing campaigns for the Entertainment & Events under Global Alliances and Partnerships functions. The role requires an individual with strong commercial acumen, attention to detail, and digital marketing expertise to drive ticket sales, audience engagement, campaign performance, and customer experience across multiple platforms.

Educational & Professional Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree from a recognized university in Marketing, Digital Marketing, Business Management, Event Management, or a related field.
• Professional qualifications in Digital Marketing, Social Media Marketing, Marketing Analytics, or Event Management will be an added advantage.
• Minimum of 2 years' experience in digital marketing, ticketing operations, event marketing, or a related field. 
• Experience within hospitality, entertainment, events, retail, or agency environments will be an added advantage.

Skills & Competencies

• Strong understanding of digital marketing channels including social media, email marketing, search marketing, and online advertising.
• Experience managing ticketing platforms, booking systems, CRM platforms, or customer databases.
• Ability to plan, execute, monitor, and optimize digital campaigns.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret campaign and sales performance data. • Excellent organizational and administrative capabilities
• Strong customer service orientation and stakeholder management skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and digital marketing tools.
• Ability to manage multiple campaigns and operational tasks simultaneously.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and support event-related activities outside standard working hours when required.
