Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the development and management of financial plans, budgets, and forecasts to support the organization's short-term and long-term goals.
- Collaborate with department heads to ensure budget adherence and allocation of resources.
- Conduct financial analysis and reporting, including variance analysis, cost-benefit analysis, and financial performance assessments.
- Interpret financial data and provide insights for informed decision-making.
- Identify financial risks and opportunities and provide recommendations for risk mitigation and financial growth.
- Develop and implement risk management strategies and policies.
- Prepare and present financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements, to management and stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with financial reporting regulations and standards.
- Evaluate investment opportunities and financing options, making recommendations to optimize the organization's financial structure.
- Manage relationships with financial institutions and investment partners.
- Ensure compliance with tax regulations, financial laws, and industry-specific standards.
- Collaborate with tax professionals to develop tax-efficient strategies.
- Provide strategic financial guidance to senior management and department heads, supporting the development and execution of the organization's strategic plans.
- Lead and mentor finance teams, including financial analysts, accountants, and other financial professionals.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide guidance for career development.
Job Responsibilities
Assisting the Finance Manager in Preparation of monthly, Quarterly and annual statutory accounts. Preparation of Quarterly and Annual account for CSE submission. Plan and provide inputs to the budget define internal controls and norms manage funds review all accounts ensure compliance to statutory regulations track and identify key issues initiate process improvements control variances inform and advise mgt on finance, amendments in law etc. with the objective of ensuring healthy financial practice at the BU's within the JKH guidelines
Person Specifications
The ideal Candidate should posses:
- Partly or fully qualified in a qualification offered by a professional Accounting Body
- A Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting/ Finance or a related field.
- Minimum 01 Year work experience
- Proficiency in MS Office package
