Job Responsibilities

- Assist the Accountant in efficient and effective operation of Stores control.
(To be costs effective, to maintain records of receives / issues and maintain stock balance for easy taking of stocks when required by the Management.

- Managing all Stores procedures effectively.
(Assist in the process of Purchasing / Storing / issuing of goods as to the requirement, to raise GRNs for all goods received and to follow the Stores Procedures, overall activities of purchasing / Storing / Issuing, Ensure all goods purchased are of high quality standard.
1.3 Ensure requested stocks are maintained with the day to day requirements.
(Proper coordination proceedings are followed with respective Department Heads regarding stock balances, new requisitions, etc., to follow set procedure of issuing items to Departments as according to the requisitions in time).

- Ensure that all stocks received are stocked in proper order in the Store Rooms / Cold Rooms for easy identification and minimize Damages and wastage, Maintain total cleanliness of all Store Rooms / Cold Rooms to the expected hygienic conditions, Ensure that all damaged / spoiled items and expired items are removed from the Stores, Ensure all Cold Room temperatures are at the required levels as according to the need, All items stocked in the Store Rooms are well tagged for an efficient and easy approach.
- Ensure proper supervision and allocating of employees in the Stores for better productivity.
- Ensure to take instant action if any maintenance work is needed and inform the respective Department.

- Any other reasonable duties as directed by the Immediate Supervisor.

- To be fully conversant with the resort fire and emergency procedures.

- To ensure a high standard of personal hygiene and appearance at all times.

- To generally promote and ensure good inter-departmental relations.

- To display a pleasant manner and positive attitude at all times and to promote a good company image to guests and colleagues.

- To ensure the compliance with the Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s) and Minimum Quality Standards (MQS’s) in order to meet laid down brand standards of products and services.

- To report any equipment failures/problems to the Maintenance Department.

- To participate in any Training/Developments schemes as recommended by senior management.

- To comply with any reasonable request made by management to the best of your ability.

- To ensure that the safety standards required by Law and by Management are maintainedat all times in the areas specified above.
