Job Responsibilities
Manager, Digital Marketing Technology owns the digital marketing technology stack, platforms, and standards on which the Cinnamon Hotels & Resorts marketing teams build. Sitting within Commercial Technology & AI, this is a central direction and product role — not a campaign execution role. A signature mandate of the role is the design, build, and adoption of an end-to-end integrated product for Digital Marketing Managers — consolidating their day-to-day workflows into a single platform that becomes their primary tool, replacing the fragmented set of platforms and manual workarounds currently in use. The Lead is accountable for revenue maximisation through marketing technology enhancement, identifying and delivering improvements that lift conversion, sharpen audience targeting, and increase the commercial return of every digital marketing investment. Equally, the role drives automation across marketing operations — enhancing the ways of working of digital marketing teams, freeing their capacity from low-value manual work, and enabling them to focus on the strategic growth of the business. The marketing teams come to this role for direction, tooling, and standards; the marketing depth comes first, and the technology aptitude is what sets the role apart.
Person Specifications
Qualifications
- A degree in marketing, business,computer science, or a related field is desirable.
- An MBA, a business analytics qualification, or a technical certification is a plus.
- Genuine technology aptitude — comfortable learning new platforms quickly, working with data, and getting hands-on with technical and AI tooling, including modern agentic and coding tools such as Claude Code.
- Working command of marketing platforms — an enterprise marketing automation platform
- A minimum of 5 years in digital marketing, with a clear record of setting direction and standards, not only running campaigns.
