Manager, Event Sales
Job Responsibilities
• Continuous focus on achieving the allocated revenue budget throughout the month to achieve the forecasted annual target.
• Research the market, analyze current and potential trends, and monitor competitor behavior to address the trends and competitor activities and to maximize banquet sales revenue.
• Respond to inquiries ranging from telephone calls, emails, and walk-ins by the end of each working day.
• Provide accurate and timely information to clients, vendors, and meeting planners.
• Meet and discuss with clients on the specifics of the event for pricing and event planning purposes.
• Coordinate event requirements with the relevant departments and tears of the Hotel to ensure smooth flow the event.
• Make regular visits to events to ensure smooth flow of proceedings.
• Execute administrative duties, including but not limited to correspondence contract generation, filing, payments, and other administrative duties as required.
• Coordinate guest problems and complain with assistance from senior supervisor/ head of department when necessary.
• Maintain excellent communication and relationships with other departments and tears of the Hotel to ensure consistency of customer service and quality of food and beverages.
• Promote the Hotel's event services to all associations. medical industry, leisure industry, corporate companies, and embassies by continuously visiting and strengthening relationships.
Person Specifications
• Minimum 3 years of sales experience preferably in banquets, in a five-star hotel at a senior executive level.
• Fluency in English and excellent communication & negotiation skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and team management skills.
• Professional qualification in Sales & Marketing will be a definite advantage.
