Restaurant & Bar Manager

Job Responsibilities

Manager in Restaurant & Bar will lead and oversee all aspects of the restaurant and bar operations. Your responsibilities will include staff management, customer service, financial management, quality control, and maintaining a welcoming and vibrant atmosphere for our guests.

• Provide leadership, guidance, and support to create a motivated and efficient team.
• Ensure exceptional customer service by greeting guests, addressing inquiries, and resolving guest feedback or concerns.
• Oversee daily service operations, including reservations, seating arrangements, table turnover, and guest flow.
• Manage budgets, control costs, and optimize profitability through effective pricing, inventory management, and waste reduction.
• Prepare financial reports and forecasts, and implement strategies for revenue growth.
• Ensure food and beverages are served to the highest standards of taste, presentation, and quality.
• Monitor inventory levels, track stock, and oversee the ordering of supplies, beverages, and food items.
• Ensure compliance with safety, sanitation, and health regulations.
• Develop and execute marketing strategies, promotions, and events to attract and retain customers.
• Ensuring trainings are ongoing according to plan, training records and deadlines are met according to the given time frame.
• Monitoring the breakage
• Overseeing spoilage and ensuring all equipment pertaining to operation are working properly

Person Specifications

• Strong knowledge of food and beverage service, including menu items and preparation.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent education in hospitality or related field is beneficial.
• Strong leadership, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
• Exceptional customer service and interpersonal abilities.
• Effective communication skills for interacting with guests and team members.
• Solid financial management and budgeting skills.
• Collaborative and able to work well with diverse teams.
• Meticulous attention to detail for quality control.
• Previous experience in a managerial role in the restaurant and bar industry is typically required.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in the same capacity as a Restaurant and bar manager.
