Assistant Manager, Human Resources

Job Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the recruitment process from sourcing to evaluating candidates using the Application Tracking System (ATS) and other channels.
  • Build strong relationships with Business HR and hiring managers to meet recruitment needs within budget.
  • Coordinate the onboarding of new employees with the Learning and Development (L&D) team and other departments.
  • Handle employee life cycle activities including promotions, transfers, and resignations.
  • Oversee the offboarding process, including clearance and exit interviews.
  • Manage labour relations, along with the grievance and disciplinary process.
  • Represent the company with third party legal entities for Employee Relations  (ER) matters.
  • Support annual projects like performance appraisals and staff engagement activities.
  • Provide comprehensive HR support to line managers and employees.

Person Specifications

Requirements

  • Minimum 4 – 5 years, experience in Human Resource Management, including 2 years in an Executive capacity.
  • Previous experience in the hospitality industry, especially in  a five-star property, is a definite advantage.
  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Management/ Administration, Hospitality, or Tourism Management, or any similar qualification.
  • Ability to work in a fast paced and dynamic environment with minimal supervision
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
