Job Responsibilities

  • Assist in managing revenues received and dispersed including accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll, audit, General Ledger reporting. Cash handling functions for the hotel and reconcile all cash dropped at the front desk.
  • Assist with financial and tax audits.
  • Assist the development and management of financial plans, budgets, and forecasts to support the organization's short-term and long-term goals.
  • Collaborate with department heads to ensure budget adherence and allocation of resources.
  • Conduct financial analysis and reporting, including variance analysis, cost-benefit analysis, and financial performance assessments.
  • Interpret financial data and provide insights for informed decision-making.
  • Identify financial risks and opportunities and provide recommendations for risk mitigation and financial growth.
  • Develop and implement risk management strategies and policies.
  • Prepare and present financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements, to management and stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with financial reporting regulations and standards.
  • Evaluate investment opportunities and financing options, making recommendations to optimize the organization's financial structure.
  • Manage relationships with financial institutions and investment partners.
  • Ensure compliance with tax regulations, financial laws, and industry-specific standards.
  • Collaborate with tax professionals to develop tax-efficient strategies.
  • Provide strategic financial guidance to senior management and department heads, supporting the development and execution of the organization's strategic plans.
  • Lead and mentor finance teams, including financial analysts, accountants, and other financial professionals.
  • Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide guidance for career development.

Person Specifications

  • Following a qualification offered by a professional Accounting Body / Graduate or following a Degree in Finance/Accounting
