Executive Finance

Job Responsibilities

Vendor/Supplier Payments

• Monitor the vendor payments and ensure payments are made with the credit period and accurately.
• Attending all the Finance Department letters related to payments and sending them to SSC.
• Attending Supplier queries for smooth function of the payments.

Accounting

• Assist to enter the journal entries, Management of cash and working capital cycle, ensure all bank reconciliations are completed by SSC by 25th of the month with all transactions up to 24th and bank reconciliations for the calendar month are completed by SSC on 1st working day of the following month. Meet all deadlines (12 monthly deadlines,3 quarterly deadlines and annual account deadlines) and ensure accuracy of information.
• Assist the Accountant to prepare Balance Sheet Schedules.

Fixed Assets

• Preparing Property Plant & Equipment Note, Asset Acquisitions & Disposal, Maintaining the Capex invoice file, preparing schedules for capital expenditure budgeted information, Updating coolers & freezers quantity report.

Treasury Functions / Statutory Payments & Year end Audit/Process Compliance

• Manage treasury Information, providing all treasury information related to Investment, Bank loans, Loan Interest & Foreign Creditors & Debtors, Statutory Payments Schedule, Preparing Statutory Payments Schedule, External reporting, preparing a quarterly survey of industrial production, Annual Year end Audit, Ensure the audited accounts are finalized as per the deadline.

Taxation

• Prepare VAT computations and RAMIS schedules within deadlines
• Ensure timely submission of VAT, WHT, SSCL, PAYEE, and other tax returns
• Manage tax portal updates and regulatory filings (IRD portal)
• Ensure timely tax payments and input VAT claims
• Support tax outsourcing activities and automation in SAP HANA

Inventory Management

• Coordinate and participate in regular stock counts
• Post stock variances and prepare supporting reports in SAP
• Analyze slow/non-moving inventory and take necessary actions
• Ensure proper documentation and approvals for inventory write-offs

Person Specifications

• Part qualified in ICASL, ACCA or CIMA and Graduate in Finance with 3-5 years of relevant experience preferably in a FMCG Company.
• Sound knowledge in Financial Accounting and Treasury Management.
• Leadership, interpersonal skills, problem solving, negotiating skills, decision making & problem solving.
