Ceylon Cold Stores PLC (CCS), manufacturer of Elephant House Beverages and Ice Creams is a leading consumer food company in Sri Lanka. CCS is a subsidiary of John Keells Holdings PLC.
The company is seeking a suitable candidate to fill the position of Area Sales Manager. The position exists for management of distributors in the assigned area, with respect to infrastructure, process and overall operations to ensure outstanding implementation channel specific of brand / category and POP vision, while ensuring agreed ROI and distribution objectives.
Job Responsibilities
- Achieving the allocated territory sales target by time.
- Gathering information pertaining to the market and competition. Assessing market potential.
- Sales reports. Providing information for management decision making. Managing company assets.
- Gathering information pertaining to the market and competition. Assessing market potential.

- Assist in merchandizing, Market penetration and development.
- Maintaining customer service levels (including efficient delivery service and managing customer and customer complaints).
Person Specifications
- GCE A/L with minimum 5 years’ experience in sales field. Sales related qualification would be an added advantage.
- Sinhala and Tamil well-spoken preferred. Proficiency in Tamil is must.
- A thorough understanding of the distribution and sales dynamics.
- Knowledge of the specific trade and distribution system, Salesmanship, Customer requirements.
