Ceylon Cold Stores PLC (CCS), manufacturer of Elephant House Beverages and Ice Creams is a leading consumer food company in Sri Lanka. CCS is a subsidiary of John Keells Holdings PLC.
The company is seeking a suitable candidate to fill the position of Assistant Manager - Channel Marketing. The position exists to assist in creation of well researched Sales, Brand and Channel initiatives that achieve overall volume & financial results of the Consumer Food Sector. Work closely with Brand/Trade Marketing & Sales teams and develop & lead execution of fully integrated, consumer, shopper and customer / channel insights based on brand / category solutions and activities for customers / channels.
Job Responsibilities
- Trade & Shopper promotional activities.
- Lead execution of brand & channel marketing plans.
- Ensuring 100% volume and KPI achievement for channel development programs assigned.
- Coordinate with sales teams on brand / channel / development programs.
- Meeting visibility KPI's to obtain category dominance at outlet level.
- Opportunity and seasonality capturing within the assigned area.
- Development of strong relationship with customers at operational level.
Person Specifications
- Degree in Sales/Marketing or equivalent with minimum of 2-3 years’ experience in a FMCG company with regard to Sales or Marketing.
- Sound business understanding in order to implement brand strategies as well as understanding of Sales and Distribution processes and consumer & shopper behaviors.
- Sound knowledge in Sales management, distribution, channel activation, display and merchandising, event negotiation and management.
- Communication skills, interpersonal skills, ability to work long hours, leadership skills, time management, decision making ability, negotiation skills, analytical skills.
