The company is seeking an ideal candidate to fill the position of Assistant Manager - Procurement - New Projects - Consumer Foods Sector. The position exists to own and manage end-to-end procurement of all non-food categories required for food operations and new store rollouts, ensuring standardization, cost efficiency, quality, and timely availability to support operational excellence and rapid expansion.
Job Responsibilities
- Lead sourcing, evaluation, onboarding, and ongoing management of non-food vendors (equipment, small wares, packaging, uniforms, consumables, services).
- Ensure vendors meet franchise standards, technical specifications, and service level expectations.
- Drive vendor consolidation and standardization across outlets to enable scale efficiencies.
- Negotiate pricing, contracts, SLAs, and commercial terms with non-food vendors.
- Track and manage procurement budgets and cost performance, driving cost optimization without compromising quality or service levels.
- Collaborate with Location Services, Design & Construction, and Operations teams to support outlet fit outs and equipment procurement.
- Ensure timely procurement and delivery of equipment and non-food items for new store openings.
- Support standard equipment specifications and vendor panels to maintain rollout consistency.
- Coordinate with regional and global supply chain teams to align equipment specifications, approved vendor lists, and sourcing models.
- Leverage regional frameworks and best practices for non-food procurement, logistics, and rollout planning.
- Ensure availability of all non-food consumables and operational items across stores, defining reorder norms and replenishment cycles with Operations.
- Proactively manage vendor performance, lead times, and service continuity risks.
- Ensure compliance with procurement policies, maintain contracts and documentation, and support internal and external audits and governance reviews.
Person Specifications
- 5–8 years of experience in non-food procurement within food, retail, hospitality, or multi-site operations.
- Strong experience in equipment sourcing, store fit outs, and operational consumables.
- Proven capability in negotiation and vendor management.
- Comfortable working in fast-paced, project-driven environments.
- Excellent coordination and stakeholder management skills.
