Assistant Manager – Trade Asset & Technical Support
Ceylon Cold Stores PLC (CCS), manufacturer of Elephant House Soft Drinks and Ice Creams is a leading consumer food company in Sri Lanka. CCS is a subsidiary of John Keells Holdings PLC.
The company is seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented professional to join our team as Assistant Manager – Trade Asset & Technical Support. This role carries overall responsibility for company-owned assets (coolers & freezers), asset maintenance, and technical support to ensure optimal utilization with minimal breakdowns. You will be the single point of contact for Group Sourcing on asset purchases and deployment, and the primary liaison with suppliers and service providers related to asset management.
Job Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Group Sourcing to secure the best deals on asset purchases.
- Monitor asset utilization and provide actionable insights to Sales and Marketing teams.
- Coordinate with Sales and Trade Marketing teams for timely and complete deployment of assets.
- Guide the team to maintain accurate physical and system records of asset locations, agreements, and transfers.
- Guide the team to manage technical service operations, ensuring immediate response to breakdowns and minimizing sales losses
- Optimize given budgets by maintaining optimal rate cards for spare parts and repair estimates.
- Oversee disposal of condemned units with proper documentation and approvals.
- Guide technical teams on cooler refurbishments, post-mix operations, and other technical activities.
- Guide the team to ensure supplier / repair payments are made on time upon verifications.
Person Specifications
- Degree from a reputed institute in Finance or related field
- 3–5 years of experience in Finance, Audit, Sales Operations and exposure to ERP systems and technical operations will be an added advantage.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, leadership, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work long hours, manage time effectively, and make sound decisions.
