The Colombo Ice Company Limited (CICL), manufacturer of Elephant House Ice Creams is a leading consumer food company in Sri Lanka. CICL is a subsidiary of John Keells Holdings PLC.

 

The company is looking for a Sales Learning & Development Executive to train and develop field sales teams. Through structured learning and on-the-job coaching, the role enhances sales skills, boosts execution, and drives sales results in the assigned area.

Job Responsibilities

  • Guide and coach both company and dealer field sales staff to strengthen their skills, knowledge, and performance
  • Track and evaluate the effectiveness of field coaching initiatives, ensuring continuous improvement and consistent delivery of results
  • Regularly assess field execution standards, identifying gaps and development needs
  • Collaborate with the sales leadership team to create action plans that address performance challenges and improve frontline execution
  • Provide periodic reports and insights into coaching effectiveness and team progress

Person Specifications

  • This role requires 90% field-based work.
  • Sound Knowledge of Field Sales Management & Training.
  • A minimum of 1 year experience in the FMCG industry will be an advantage
