EXECUTIVE - MARKET DEVELOPMENT
Ceylon Cold Stores PLC (CCS), manufacturer of Elephant House Beverages and Ice Creams is a leading consumer food company in Sri Lanka. CCS is a subsidiary of John Keells Holdings PLC.
The company is seeking a suitable candidate to fill the position of Executive – Market Development. The primary focus of this role is to drive marketing and communication strategies through implementing a comprehensive marketing plan. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in marketing and sales with a specific emphasis on distribution, ATL, TTL and shopper engagement.
Job Responsibilities
- Sales and Marketing Plan: Develop and implement effective international marketing and sales strategies to promote our products in target markets, ensuring growth and market share expansion.
- Market Research: Conduct market research to identify potential opportunities, customer preferences, and competitive trends in international markets.
- Sales Support: Provide necessary information, materials, and assistance to the international customer sales teams to enhance their effectiveness in international markets.
- Communication: Deliver impactful presentations and customer communications, showcasing our product and passion.
- Relationship Building: Build and maintain positive relationships with international clients, distributors, and partners to foster long-term business partnerships.
- Administrative Support: Assist in administrative tasks related to international sales operations, including record-keeping, data analysis, and reporting.
Person Specifications
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field. At least 1 year of experience in Marketing, ideally within the FMCG sector.
- A comprehensive understanding of global market dynamics and sales and marketing strategies.
- Sound knowledge in Brand Building, Marketing communication and Experience with digital marketing.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with diverse audiences.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating initiative and self-motivation.
