Executive Payments - Asset Operations
Ceylon Cold Stores PLC (CCS), manufacturer of Elephant House Soft Drinks and Ice Creams is a leading consumer food company in Sri Lanka. CCS is a subsidiary of John Keells Holdings PLC.
The company is seeking a suitable candidate to fill the position of Executive Payments - Asset Operations. The position exists to manage service agents’ payments, ensure compliance, coordinate stakeholders, analyze budgets, and drive efficiency.
Job Responsibilities
- Process payments related to service agents in a timely and accurate manner.
- Handle end-to-end payment processing including Purchase Orders (PO), Goods Received Notes (GRN), and invoice verification.
- Ensure all supporting documents are complete and compliant with company policies before initiating payments.
- Coordinate and follow up with internal stakeholders (Marketing, Procurement, Finance etc.) to resolve discrepancies and ensure payment completion.
- Maintain proper records of payments, invoices, and supporting documentation.
- Perform payment analysis, including tracking pending payments, overdue payments, and vendor-wise payment status.
- Prepare periodic payment reports and summaries for management review.
- Assist in budget management, including monitoring expenditure against approved budgets.
- Continuously identify opportunities to improve payment processing efficiency.
Person Specifications
- Degree/professional qualification from a reputed institute in Finance/Marketing or related field.
- 6 months to 1 year of experience in payment processing or related responsibilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Serge) is an added advantage.
- Strong analytical and reconciliation skills.
- Good communication and coordination skills for stakeholder follow-ups.
- Knowledge of accounts payable and payment processing procedures will be an added advantage.
