The Colombo Ice Company Limited (CICL), manufacturer of Elephant House Ice Creams is a leading consumer food company in Sri Lanka. CICL is a subsidiary of John Keells Holdings PLC.
The company is seeking a suitable candidate to fill the position of Executive-Sales Operations & Insight. The position exists to learn and support in Sales Operations activities including timely sharing of necessary information with relevant parties to increase the efficiency of Sales execution.
Job Responsibilities
- Sales Target Setting - Involves establishing specific, measurable sales and distribution goals for products across channels, based on market potential, historical performance, and strategic business objectives.
- Sales KPI Setting and Validation with Management - Involves collaboratively defining key performance indicators aligned with strategic sales objectives and ensuring their relevance, accuracy, and feasibility through review and approval by Management.
- Work with sales & marketing teams to provide data-driven insights and recommendations to support and strengthen the front end.
- Develop and maintain dashboards using Microsoft Power BI to track performance indicators.
Person Specifications
- Bachelor’s in Management / Administration or Statistics.
- Partial completion of CIM/CIMA preferred.
- 1–2 years’ experience working in Business Partnering for Sales.
- Sound knowledge in ERP systems and Microsoft packages.
- Business understanding in the FMCG industry and emerging trends in Sales & Marketing.
- Data analysis, Data visualization, Statistical tools & techniques, Business communication, Problem- solving skills and attention to detail.
