Ceylon Cold Stores PLC (CCS), manufacturer of Elephant House Beverages and Ice Creams is a leading consumer food company in Sri Lanka. CCS is a subsidiary of John Keells Holdings PLC.

The company is seeking an ideal candidate to fill the position of HRBP Managerial Level - New Projects - Consumer Foods Sector. The position exists to provide both strategic and operational HR support to the Consumer Food Sector, ensuring alignment between people strategy and business objectives. The role partners with multi-store operations to strengthen leadership capability, drive performance culture, manage employee relations, support workforce planning, and ensure compliance with Sri Lankan labor laws. Acting as the primary HR contact for Operations leadership, the HRBP enables business performance through effective people management practices.

Job Responsibilities

  • Partner with the Head of HR and Operations leadership to implement people strategies aligned with business priorities.
  • Act as the primary HR advisor to operational Management teams.
  • Support organizational design, manpower planning, and role clarity across restaurants.
  • Provide data-driven people with insights to support business decision-making.
  • Implement and drive a performance-driven culture focused on service excellence and customer satisfaction.
  • Lead people-related change initiatives linked to growth restructuring, or process improvements while complying with the all the internal and external policies, Procedures.
  • Support the business performance by achieving HR KPIs in a systematic way.
  • Develop the people pipeline while making sure the growth of the people and organizations.

Person Specifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Management, or related field.           
  • 7–10 years of overall HR experience with minimum 3 years in HRBP or Managerial HR role.
  • Experience in retail, hospitality, or food service industry is highly preferred.
  • Experience in multi-store operations and pre-opening experience are an added advantage.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills.
  • Ability to work in fast-paced, high-pressure environments.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Analytical and data-driven mindset.
