Senior Executive - Finance
Ceylon Cold Stores PLC (CCS), manufacturer of Elephant House Beverages and Ice Creams is a leading consumer food company in Sri Lanka. CCS is a subsidiary of John Keells Holdings PLC.
The company is seeking a suitable candidate to fill the position of Senior Executive - Finance. This role is responsible for treasury management, including cash flow planning, bank reconciliations, liquidity monitoring, managing banking relationships, and supporting funding and payment activities. Further track & identify key issues; initiate process improvements; control variances with the objective of ensuring healthy financial practices in the Company within the specified guidelines.
Job Responsibilities
- Plan and manage cash flows and treasury operations.
- Preparation and presentation of cash flow forecasts to the senior management.
- Monitor borrowings, interest payments, and optimize cost of funds.
- Management of cash and working capital cycle.
- Ensure all bank reconciliations are completed within the deadline.
- Ensure the management of foreign transactions.
- Collaborate with external stakeholders, including banks, to negotiate favorable interest rates, exchange rates, and funding needs of the Company.
- Assist in the month-end close process and in the preparation of the Annual Plan, Reforecast Plan, Annual Report, and Balance Sheet schedules.
- Providing all treasury information related to Investment, Bank loans, Loan Interest & Foreign Creditors & Debtors, Statutory Payments.
- Preparing Income Tax Working and Monthly Payee Reconciliation.
- Preparing and documentation of Transfer Pricing Schedules.
Person Specifications
- Part qualified in ICASL, ACCA or CIMA and a degree in Finance.
- A minimum of 2 years’ experience, preferably in a manufacturing organization and / or an Audit Firm Sound knowledge in Financial Accounting and Treasury Management.
- Familiarity with SAP or similar ERP systems is an advantage.
- Broad understanding of the financial behavior of a manufacturing company.
- Broad Understanding of Forex & Statutory/Regulatory Requirements.
- Decision Taking & Problem-Solving Skills.
- Proactive, with the ability to take initiative and follow through on actions.
- Strong leadership qualities with excellent interpersonal skills.
