Ceylon Cold Stores PLC (CCS), manufacturer of Elephant House Beverages and Ice Creams is a leading consumer food company in Sri Lanka. CCS is a subsidiary of John Keells Holdings PLC.
The company is seeking a suitable candidate to fill the position of Country Representative - The Maldives. The position exists to carry out marketing and distribution of Ceylon Cold Stores PLC (CCS) and Keells Foods PLC (KFP), in the territories of Maldives. Assist in planning & design strategies, and action plans to increase the market share by absorbing new markets and expanding the existing markets into a wider range. Assist in developing Sales & Marketing operations in the Maldives for the entire brands of the consumer food sector.
Job Responsibilities
- Managing the distributor sales team to execute sales plans.
- Business Development – grow business as per the sales plan.
- Execute marketing and trade marketing activities.
- Primary and Redistribution sales target setting.
- Market Development and Distributor Management.
- Closely work with the distributor to improve volume and revenue.
- Periodical review of market performance.
- Monthly review to review the progress of set objectives and plan.
Person Specifications
- Following or completing a degree or diploma in Business Administration, Marketing or Sales Management.
- Knowledge of International Marketing and trade practices and regulatory framework in assigned territories (preferably in FMCG).
- Trade practices & basic knowledge on FMCG market in identified territories, Basic Knowledge on Mathematics/Accounting/Statistics.
- Communication, Time Management, Team Player, Positive Attitude, Strategic Ability and sound business judgement.
