ASSISTANT MANAGER - ICF ENGINEER

The selected candidates will be responsible for:

• Study the current factory and its processes & operations; Come up with ideas for factory upgrades.
• Conduct feasibility studies; Evaluate options; Advice on viability of different options.
• Educate management on new technical areas in order to upgrade the factory and increase production.
• Assisting with process issues; Liaising with outside consultants for technical repairs when necessary.
• Maintaing cordial relationships with vendors and suppliers of technical equipment used by the factory.
• Keeping up to date with the latest technological breakthroughs pertaining to the industry.
• Advising management of same at appropriate times in order to maintain plant efficiency.

Required qualifications and skills:

• Degree in engineering with 3-5 years’ experience preferably in FMCG manufacturing environment.
• Good working knowledge in Auto Cad, Visio and other relevant tools is an essential.
• Business Production & operation related engineering processes in a factory environment.
• Process mapping, specifications of engineering processes, Health and Safety legislation, continuous improvement methodologies.
• Understanding and requirement fulfillment of Quality Management systems, Food safety management system, Occupational Health and Safety management system, Environmental Safety Management System, Energy Management System, Good Manufacturing Process and PRP, CCP, OPRP.
• Interpersonal skills, motivational skills, Building High Performance Teams; Analytical; Innovative; Communication; Adaptability; Negotiation; Decision Taking and problem Solving; Attention to detail.
