Assistant Manager - Financial Planning and Analysis
Ceylon Cold Stores PLC (CCS), manufacturer of Elephant House Beverages and Ice Creams is a leading consumer food company in Sri Lanka. CCS is a subsidiary of John Keells Holdings PLC.
The company is seeking a suitable candidate to fill the position of Assistant Manager - Financial Planning and Analysis. The position exists to assist the finance function to proactively support the operational and finance requirements of the Company, to provide Finance Outcomes expected from the finance division such as annual planning and monthly financial reporting within statutory and group guidelines.
Job Responsibilities
- Ensure financial accuracy, integrity, and high-quality performance insights that enable leadership to make timely, informed decisions aligned with the Annual Plan and long-term business strategy.
- Champion strong cost governance and profitability management frameworks. Proactively identify efficiency improvements and margin enhancement opportunities across the value chain.
- Provide forward-looking analytics, pricing intelligence, and profitability insights to support portfolio optimization, customer strategy, trade investment effectiveness, and revenue growth initiatives.
- Partner with Commercial and Operational teams to evaluate growth initiatives and structural optimization opportunities to maximize long-term value creation.
- Support the transformation of finance by leveraging digital tools, automation initiatives, and system-driven processes to enhance reporting efficiency, forecasting accuracy, and integrated planning capabilities.
Person Specifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline
- Fully qualified CA (Sri Lanka), CIMA (UK), ACCA (UK).
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in FP&A, Management Accounting, or Commercial Finance
- Experience in FMCG, manufacturing, or a dynamic commercial environment would be an advantage
- Any prior exposure to IT-related qualifications, process automation initiatives, or SAP-based automation enhancements will be considered an added advantage
