Executive - Logistics
The Executive - Logistics Operations will be instrumental in ensuring the efficient shift management of our Beverage Finished Goods warehouse and distribution operations. This role demands full accountability for the entire warehouse inventory management, FG Loading Operation, and effective labor management within the shift. A key focus will be minimizing operational gaps during truck loading and ensuring efficient production receiving into the Full Bottles stores from the production area, while diligently maintaining accountability and minimizing discrepancies.
Job Responsibilities
- Managing the entire Finished Goods warehouse operations for one shift per day.
- Overseeing all full bottles stock and supporting soft drink distribution.
- Optimizing truck turnaround times to enhance operational efficiency.
- Minimizing stock variances and ensuring inventory accuracy.
- Coordinating effectively with Beverage Production Planning and Logistics teams.
- Managing and leading warehouse labor effectively.
- Ensuring the maintenance of physical quality factors, including truck and goods physical conditions, and strict adherence to FIFO principles.
- Leveraging ERP knowledge, specifically for SAP.
Person Specifications
- A Degree in Logistics Management / Supply Chain Management / Operational Management or an equivalent qualification, with a minimum of 1-2 years of hands-on experience in logistics and warehouse management, including labor handling.
- Demonstrated knowledge of logistics management in large-scale FMCG warehouse and distribution operations, along with an understanding of global trends in effective warehouse management.
- Sound knowledge of Logistics Management principles, labor handling best practices, Continuous Improvement Methodologies, and GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) / Health and Safety legislations.
- Possesses strong analytical, innovative, and communication skills.
- Highly adaptable, with strong negotiation, decision-making, and problem-solving abilities.
- Exhibits a positive outlook and meticulous attention to detail.
