Logistics Executive

Job Responsibilities

• Handling the import procedure of the company commencing from the opening of LCs.
• Coordinating and obtaining approval from relevant government authorities (Specially import and Export control department and Telecommunications regulatory commission of Sri Lanka)
• Coordinating with foreign principles with regards to shipping schedules.
• Documentation and liaising with bank and clearing agents.
• Preparing Product Costing.

Person Specifications

• Minimum of 2 years' experience in handling similar job role
• Professional qualification in supplier chain management logistics or equivalent.
• Thorough Knowledge on import, banking in international trade procedures. Operation procedure regarding sea and air freight, Sri Lanka custom, Department of Import and Export control and Telecommunications regulatory commission   Procedures will be prerequisites.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a computerized environment and the ability to stretch extra hours whenever required.
