Pre Sales Engineering - ELV/ HVAC
Job Responsibilities
- Strong understanding of HVAC systems including Split, VRF, and Light Commercial applications, with the ability to interpret technical specifications, read BOQs, and accurately extract requirements for solution development.
- Strong sales and presentation skills with the ability to confidently pitch technical HVAC solutions to customers, consultants, and contractors, clearly articulating value propositions and addressing technical queries during the sales cycle.
- Ability to apply HVAC design principles for system selection and sizing, coordinate with suppliers for competitive pricing, and prepare accurate quotations and tender/bid submissions in line with customer requirements and company standards.
- Work closely with the sales team to identify customer needs and technical requirements.
- Prepare technical proposals, solution designs, specifications, and supporting documentation.
- Respond to Requests for Proposal (RFPs), Requests for Quotation (RFQs), and tender documents.
Person Specifications
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Information Technology, Telecommunications, Electronics, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in a Pre-Sales, Technical Sales, Solutions Engineering, or related role.
- Experience in preparing technical proposals, solution designs, and customer presentations.
- Exposure to tender submissions and commercial proposal preparation is an advantage.
- Strong technical and analytical skills.
- Excellent presentation and communication abilities.
- Ability to understand complex customer requirements and translate them into practical solutions.
- Strong problem-solving and negotiation skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and presentation tools.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within cross-functional teams.
- Strong customer-service orientation and relationship management skills.
