Assistant Manager - Sales (APAC)

We invite applications from suitably qualified individuals for the post of Assistant Manager - Sales. The selected candidate will report to the Chief Sales Officer.

The Assistant Manager – Sales will be responsible for:
- Generating and building client relationships, leading to qualified opportunity identification and involvement throughout the sales cycle, often in the absence of an existing client relationship or opportunity
- Targeting the right clients, growing a quality pipeline, winning profitable deals, and managing sales activities with the objective of creating mutually beneficial, trust-based relationships that create value
- Leading and closing multi-year contracts with strategy consulting in ERP, Cloud Computing, SOC, SaaS, Resource Augmentation Services (ODC), UiPath, Bespoke Application Development and Product Development
- Identifying a client problem statement and craft a value proposition that provides specific outcomes addressing the client problem
- Providing solutions to complex business problems in area(s) of responsibility where analysis of situations requires an in-depth knowledge of organizational objectives
- Interacting with senior management levels at a client and/or within John Keells IT that involve negotiating or influencing significant matters
- Decision-making and determining objectives in approaching critical assignments in making them successful and outcome based
- Managing the opportunity from a sales pursuit to close the transaction following a deep sales process and providing necessary expertise to the client and business
- Act as a single point of contact for all customer engagements, escalations, and resolutions
- Ability to originate and develop new opportunities for sustainable growth for the organization

The ideal candidate should possess:
- A bachelor’s degree in ICT or Business Management with a full professional qualification in CIM or SLIM
- Candidate with key account management portfolio worked for banking and finance sector will be an added advantage
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in IT based solution selling with 2 years’ experience in assistant manager position with proven sales results
