We invite applications from suitably qualified individuals for the post of Associate Consultant – Cybersecurity. The selected candidate will report to the Assistant Manager.

The Associate Consultant – Cybersecurity will be responsible for:

  • Assisting in identifying, investigating, and responding to potential threats.
  • Supporting threat intelligence and vulnerability management efforts.
  • Preparing documentation and communication of threats.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to improve the security posture.
  • Assisting in the maintenance and administration of the SIEM platform, including monitoring system health and updating configurations.
  • Supporting threat hunting and vulnerability assessments.
  • Staying updated on emerging threats, vulnerabilities, and security technologies.
  • Supporting compliance and audit activities related to security operations.
  • Documenting SOPs and playbooks.
  • Reporting on security incidents, threat trends, and response activities to management and stakeholders.

The ideal candidate should possess:

  • A Bachelor’s Degree in Cybersecurity or a related field.
  • Basic understanding of networking, operating systems, and security principles.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience working in Security Operations.
  • Knowledge of common attack vectors, malware, and threat actors.
  • Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail.
  • Enthusiasm for learning and staying updated on cybersecurity trends.
  • Excellent communication skills and a collaborative attitude.
  • Familiarity with SIEM tools and cloud environments (an added advantage).
