We invite applications from suitably qualified individuals for the post of Intern - Cloud Solutions and Services (Security).The selected candidate will report to the Consultant – Cloud Solutions & services.

The Intern - Cloud Solutions and Services (Security) will be responsible for:
- Assisting in maintaining and enhancing cloud security posture management (CSPM) tools and dashboards.
- Supporting cloud security assessments across AWS, Azure, and/or GCP environments.
- Conducting configuration reviews to ensure alignment with cloud security best practices and standards such as CIS Benchmarks, NIST, and ISO 27001.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify and remediate cloud security gaps.
- Assisting in the preparation of cloud security documentation including security architecture, policies, and procedures.
- Supporting incident response activities and investigations related to cloud workloads or platforms.
- Monitoring, triaging, and escalating cloud-based security alerts and vulnerabilities.
- Staying updated on evolving cloud security threats, technologies, and compliance requirements while contributing to internal knowledge sharing initiatives.
- Maintaining accurate documentation for assigned tasks and engagements.

The ideal candidate should possess:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related discipline.
- Foundational knowledge of public cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Basic understanding of cloud security principles including identity and access management and encryption.
- Exposure to tools such as Microsoft Defender for Cloud and Microsoft Defender will be an added advantage.
- Familiarity with compliance frameworks such as CIS Benchmarks, NIST, SOC 2, ISO 27001, HIPAA, or GDPR.
- Certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Security Operations Analyst Associate or ISC2 Certified in Cybersecurity (CC) will be an added advantage.
- Basic scripting or programming knowledge in languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell will be an added advantage.
- Foundational knowledge of network protocols, operating systems (Windows/Linux), and web technologies.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
