Senior Tech Lead / Tech Lead

We invite applications from suitably qualified individuals for the post of Senior Tech Lead / Tech Lead and will be responsible for:
- Assess current application architectures and define modernization and migration strategies for each application.
- Assist in designing and implementing Azure PaaS solutions for applications to maximize cost benefits, scalability, and performance.
- Refactor and re-architect applications to align with cloud-native principles.
- Monitor and optimize the performance of modernized applications on Azure.
- Create and maintain documentation related to the modernization and migration process, including architecture diagrams, design specifications, and operational procedures.

The ideal candidate should:
- A degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Demonstrated experience in application modernization and containerization.
- Extensive experience with cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure / Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- In-depth knowledge of Azure PaaS solutions such as Azure App Services, Azure Functions, Azure SQL Database, Cosmos DB, and Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS).
- Proficiency in development technologies such as PHP, ASP.NET, Node.js, React/Angular, JavaScript, SOA (WCF), and Web API.
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines, YAML, and DevOps practices.
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or ARM templates is preferred.
- Familiarity with database management systems such as MS SQL Server, MySQL, and MongoDB.
- Experience with Kubernetes is a plus.
- Familiarity with mobile applications frameworks such as React Native and native (Android/ iOS) is a plus.
- Knowledge of modernization tools and methodologies, such as Azure Migrate.
- Experience with low-code development platforms like Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power Pages is an added advantage.
- Experience integrating AI/ML capabilities into applications using Azure Cognitive Services, Azure Machine Learning, and other AI tools is a plus.
- Azure certifications (e.g., Azure Solutions Architect, Azure DevOps Engineer, Azure Developer) are highly desirable.
- CKAD (Certified Kubernetes Application Developer) certification is a plus.
