Assistant Manager - Trade Marketing

Job Responsibilities

  • Identify potential growth areas within the relevant business context and develop programmes to drive sales.
  • Work with stakeholders and ensure the timely execution of special day programmes.
  • Lead the relevant cross departmental teams and provide plans and solutions for business matters.
  • Ensure the execution of promotions within set frameworks.
  • Develop customer engagement/ experience programmes to drive positive habits/perception and sales.
  • Understand business data and review mechanisms and review all relevant programmes  conducted by the business.
  • Observe market conditions and take proactive decisions while sharing knowledge with wider teams.
  • Manage the given budget and look for opportunities to gain savings.

Person Specifications

  • A Postgraduate Diploma in Marketing from CIM UK or completed 2 parts of the given, or a Degree in Marketing or Business Management.
  • Minimum of 4 years’ experience in marketing. Prior experience in handling trade marketing activities would be an added advantage.
  • Exceptional team management and PR skills.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills in at least 2 languages
  • A customer-focused service oriented mindset.
  • A positive attitude and a proactive approach.
  • A goal-oriented and organized team player.
