Electrical Engineer

Job Responsibilities

• Adhere to the design specifications, prepare a detailed Bill of Quantities (BOQ) and distribute  tender documents.
• Engage in contract negotiations, ensuring the timely awarding and overseeing of contract executions.
• Oversee the electrical installation process to ensure timely completion in accordance with the project schedule and adherence to electrical standards.
• Inspect and verify the work completed on-site and authorize contractor payments accordingly.
• Select materials, place orders, track progress and ensure timely delivery to the site.

Person Specifications

• Should possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• Recent graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey information clearly and effectively.
• Strong command of the English language, both spoken and written.
• Solid knowledge of AutoCAD and proficiency in MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders at different levels.
