Executive - Architect

Job Responsibilities

• Contribute to the development of innovative and functional retail spaces that enhance customer experience.
• Review and approve architectural and engineering drawings, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Collaborate with stakeholders, consultants and project teams throughout the design development process and maintain accurate and up-to-date architectural records, including construction drawings and specifications.
• Prepare and provide necessary documents, drawings and details required for building plan approvals, amendments, alterations and Certificates of Compliance (COC).
• Coordinate effectively with relevant authorities and teams to ensure smooth approval processes and project execution.
• Conduct feasibility checks to ensure designs comply with architectural standards and government regulations.
• Oversee on-site construction to ensure alignment with approved architectural designs, standards, and regulations while maintaining quality and safety.
• Provide necessary design plans and recommendations to the property team for approval and execution and verify the viability of proposed designs before proceeding with further development.
• Collaborate with contractors, engineers and project teams to address design-related issues, approve materials and ensure smooth project execution.
• Guide and coordinate with external consultants, contractors and vendors to ensure project quality and efficiency.

Person Specifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture from a reputed University.
• Possessing the Chartered Architect status is an added advantage.
• More than 2 years of experience as an Architect in a reputed architectural firm or construction company.
• Strong project management skills, with the ability to oversee multiple projects and ensure timely completion.
• Advanced knowledge of design and modeling software, including CAD, REVIT and SketchUp.
• Exceptional problem-solving abilities, with a strategic mindset for addressing design challenges and improving processes.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks and manage time effectively to meet deadlines.
• Keen attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and precision in all aspects of architectural design and planning.
• Goal-oriented, organized and a reliable team player, focused on achieving project success and contributing to team growth.
