Job Responsibilities
- Develop a trade plan to grow sales and customer penetration into the category.
- Own the end to end buying the merchandising process, ensuring We have the most profitable range that is customer driven from the insights We have.
- Identify customer preferences and forecast consumer trends.
- Develop and execute category strategies to optimize space allocation, maximizing profits and enhancing customer satisfaction.
- Negotiate with suppliers on pricing to increase profit margins for the respective categories.
- Collaborate closely with the trade planning operation group to plan and execute monthly promotions.
- Work alongside the promo income team and negotiate with suppliers to develop the supplier investment portfolio.
Person Specifications
- A Degree in Business Administration, Management, Marketing or a Professional Qualification in CIMA, ACCA or CIM.
- Previous experience in FMCG is an advantage.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong multitasking, time management and prioritization skills.
- Exceptional attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and precision in all tasks.
- A positive team player with a collaborative mindset and a willingness to contribute to the team's success
