Executive - Demand Planning

Job Responsibilities

• Monitor and manage gaps at outlets to meet target levels, actively participating in availability meetings.
• Conduct thorough forecasting, including base line, promotional and seasonal forecasts, to anticipate and meet demand effectively.
• Collaborate with suppliers to align their production and shipment plans with internal requirements, ensuring timely availability of products.
• Place orders accurately and in a timely manner, ensuring the right quantities are ordered to maintain stock levels.
• Maintain departmental stock holdings at target levels through regular analysis and monitoring.
• Participate in department level meetings to discuss inventory management strategies.
• Engage with suppliers regularly to identify and resolve issues, fostering strong partnerships and communication.
• Organize frequent supplier meetings to discuss performance, share updates and establish agreed next steps with the Head of Department (HOD).
• Collaborate in availability meetings to review and refine Supplier Engagement Plans ensuring alignment with company objectives.

Person Specifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Transport, Logistics, Supply Chain, General Management or a related field.
• Candidates with a strong interest in pursuing a career in supply chain management are encouraged to apply.
• Minimum 1 to 2 years’ work experience is preferred.
• Analytical skills.
• Communication skills (presentation and negotiations).
• Ability to work under pressure.
• A positive attitude about new challenges with a mindset to learn new things.
