What You Need to Do
• Manage end-to-end food safety data integrity, ensuring the accuracy, completeness, and consistency of product specifications, ingredient declarations, allergen information, nutritional data, labelling, and regulatory documentation.
• Maintain and validate food safety master data across internal systems while ensuring compliance with company standards and regulatory requirements.
• Conduct trend analysis of food safety and quality data to identify recurring issues, emerging risks, and opportunities for continuous improvement.
• Prepare analytical reports, dashboards, and management insights to support informed decision-making and business performance.
• Monitor changes in food legislation, industry standards, and regulatory requirements, and assess their impact on the product portfolio and business operations.
• Support food safety risk assessments by evaluating product safety, regulatory compliance, and potential business impacts.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including Quality Assurance, Commercial, Regulatory, Supply Chain, and Technical teams, to ensure the accuracy and integrity of food safety information.
• Support internal and external audits by maintaining accurate documentation and ensuring compliance with food safety management systems.
• Investigate food safety data discrepancies, identify root causes, and coordinate corrective and preventive actions.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance data quality, reporting accuracy, and regulatory compliance.
What You Need
- Bachelor's Degree in Food Science, Food Technology, Microbiology, Statistics, Quality Management, or a related discipline.
- Professional training or Certification in Food Safety, Data Analysis, Statistical Process Control, Quality Management, or related disciplines would be an added advantage.
- Minimum 1 - 2 years of experience in Food Safety, Quality Assurance, Regulatory Affairs, Product Compliance, or Operational Risk Analysis within the retail, FMCG, food manufacturing, or food service industry.
- Proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools such as Microsoft Excel, Power BI, or similar business intelligence platforms.
- Knowledge of food safety management systems, audit processes, non-conformance management, and corrective and preventive action (CAPA) processes.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data and translate findings into practical business recommendations.
- Excellent attention to detail with a high level of accuracy in managing product and regulatory data.
- Ability to stay informed of evolving food legislation and assess its impact on business operations and product compliance.
