Executive -Internal Audit

Job Responsibilities

  • Perform cash audits as per the audit planner and communicate the relevant findings to the management team.
  • Prepare audit reports on findings and circulate them in a timely manner For management review.
  • Verify Fixed assets and report on findings.
  • Visit relevant centres periodically and perform audits to ensure process compliance and report on findings accordingly.
  • Perform ad hac audit work based on requests From the management team.
  • Perform routine audits on csh, inventory, and other controls at the Kells Distribution Centre.
  • Carryout investigations on Frauds and malpractices and report on findings

Person Specifications

  • Should possess a Degree in Finance or possess a part qualification in CIMA, CA, ACCA.
  • Minimimum 2 to 3 years’ experience in an audit related role.
  • Audit firm /Retail industry experience will be an added advantage.
  • Sound knowledge in modern internal audit practices and methods.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain issues simply and demonstrate credibility when working with stakeholders.
  • Proficient computer skills (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel)
  • Analytical Skills
  • Willing to travel to outstation centers and outlets.
  • Knowledge in Tamil language would be an added advantage.
  • Knowledge on labour laws and regulations will be an added advantage.
