Executive - New Store Opening (Talent Acquisition)
Job Responsibilities
- Design and implement effective talent acquisition strategies to attract high-quality candidates for new store openings.
- Utilize various sourcing methods such as job boards, social media, employee referrals and professional networks to identify potential candidates.
- Lead interviews, evaluate candidate qualifications and make informed hiring recommendations in alignment with organizational needs.
- Lead, mentor and support the team of HR Partners to ensure effective execution of recruitment processes.
- Oversee end to end onboarding for new hires, including documentation, orientation sessions and coordination of training schedules.
- Support new employees in successfully integrating into the organization and culture, ensuring a smooth and positive transition.
- Maintain the highest standards of personal and professional integrity throughout the hiring process.
- Monitor changes in labor legislation and communicate relevant updates to HR Partners and Department Managers to ensure full compliance.
- Maintain clear and timely communication with candidates at every stage of the hiring process, providing updates and setting expectations.
- Deliver an outstanding candidate experience from initial engagement through to onboarding, reflecting the company’s values and culture.
- Address candidate questions promptly and provide clear information regarding roles, company culture and benefits.
Person Specifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field.
- Proven experience in talent acquisition, recruitment, or HR operations, preferably within the retail or supermarket industry.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities, with a focus on meeting deadlines and achieving recruitment goals.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- A proactive mindset, high level of integrity and a commitment to excellence in recruitment and onboarding practices.
