Executive - Prepared Food Excellence

Job Responsibilities

  • Conduct operational audits to evaluate food quality, service standards, SOP adherence, hygiene and equipment condition across stores.
  • Drive continuous improvement to identify operational gaps and recommend action plans.
  • Prepare audit reports and deliver detailed reports with corrective actions and follow-ups for store and leadership teams.
  • Enhance sales execution by monitoring product availability, merchandising and promotional execution to optimize sales performance.
  • Support store-level strategies by collaborating with store managers and head chefs to implement localized initiatives that drive revenue.
  • Coach teams for service excellence by ensuring teams deliver quick, efficient and friendly service through real-time coaching and training.
  • Enforce compliance with cleanliness, sanitation and food safety protocols.
  • Verify staff adherence to uniform, hygiene and storage standards aligned with company SOPs.
  • Identify training needs and provide hands-on coaching in food prep, service and compliance.
  • Conduct regular equipment checks and escalate maintenance needs while ensuring timely resolution.
  • Promote accurate portioning, minimizing food waste, and cost-efficient operations.
  • Analyze store performance by tracking sales trends and customer feedback, providing insights to improve profitability.
  • Recognize high performers and foster a positive team culture and drive accountability at all levels

Person Specifications

  • A Minimum 5 years’ experience in food retail, restaurant management, or multi-unit operations.
  • Prior experience in field coaching, area/regional management, or operations support is highly desirable.
  • In-depth knowledge of food preparation, food safety standards, and hygiene compliance.
  • Proven ability to analyze sales performance, drive promotions and enhance overall store profitability.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, reporting tools and data analytics to support operational decisions.
  • Strong expertise in auditing and compliance, ensuring consistent adherence to food quality, hygiene and service protocols.
  • The ability to train, coach and develop store teams, building high-performing and service-oriented teams.
  • Advanced understanding of local food hygiene regulations and industry best practices within Sri Lanka.
  • Excellent leadership, communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
