What you need to do
- Ensure the continuous availability of approved packing materials by coordinating effectively with procurement and store teams
- Monitor and maintain quality standards through established checking procedures
- Drive sustainability initiatives (e.g., reusable bags, SMS/e-bills, and box reuse) to reduce environmental impact and material consumption
- Track outlet-level packing material usage, identify variances, and recommend corrective actions
- Support customer and staff awareness initiatives in collaboration with marketing and operations teams
- Ensure all outlets comply with company standards related to packing material types, display, and handling
- Prepare and share regular reports on packing cost performance, sustainability impact and areas for improvement incorporate feedback from the Packing Forum
- Develop and maintain accurate overtime (OT) budgets based on trading patterns and workforce requirements
- Review outlets with high overtime usage, identify root causes, recommend corrective actions and ensure proper follow-up
What you need
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field
- Minimum of 2- 3 years’ experience in retail operations, cost control, or workforce planning
- Experience in supermarket or FMCG environments will be an added advantage
- Proven ability to manage budgets and monitor performance across multiple outlets
- Effective coordination and stakeholder management abilities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, familiarity with reporting tools and dashboards is an advantage
- Self-motivated with a strong focus on results
- Adaptability to dynamic and fast-paced environments
