Manager - Mechanical and Electrical Installations

What You Will Do

• Design, evaluate, and standardize fit-for-purpose Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) systems for new outlets, including preparation of BOQs.
• Lead end to end execution of M&E works for new store projects, ensuring delivery within agreed timelines, budgets and quality standards.
• Manage M&E aspects of refurbishments, remodels and special projects with minimal disruption to ongoing operations.
• Review and optimize existing M&E systems across outlets, ensuring compliance with technical specifications and statutory requirements.
• Drive contractor performance, ensuring adherence to safety standards, specifications and project deliverables.
• Coordinate with authorities, consultants, and internal stakeholders to secure approvals and ensure smooth project execution.
• Develop procurement strategies and ensure timely availability of M&E materials, equipment and services.
• Lead sustainability and energy initiatives, including solar integration, monitoring systems and continuous efficiency improvements.

What You Need

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent qualification).
• 6 - 8 years of experience in M&E installations and project management within commercial or retail environments.
• Proven track record in delivering large-scale projects with full lifecycle responsibility.
• Strong technical expertise in building services, including electrical design and M&E systems integration.
• Proficiency in tools such as AutoCAD, MS Project and Microsoft Excel.
• Demonstrated leadership experience with the ability to manage teams, contractors, and multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and stakeholder management skills.
• Good understanding of sustainability practices and energy management systems.
