Product Owner

Job Responsibilities

• Define and communicate the product vision and strategy based on customer insights, market research, and business objectives.
• Ensure product goals align with overall company priorities.
• Own and manage the product backlog by gathering requirements, writing user stories, defining acceptance criteria, and prioritizing tasks based on value, feasibility, and strategic alignment.
• Ensure the development team clearly understands requirements to support successful delivery.
• Act as the primary point of contact for all product-related queries and decisions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders (Marketing, Sales, Customer Support, etc.) to align the product with market needs.
• Present and communicate product progress, vision, and roadmap to management, customers, and key stakeholders.
• Oversee product development to ensure features and fixes are delivered within agreed timelines.
• Conduct User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and provide feedback to maintain quality standards.
• Proactively plan according to the roadmap, identify potential risks, and implement improvements within scope.
• Gather user feedback to validate decisions and identify opportunities for enhancement.
• Use analytics tools to track performance and measure product success.
• Monitor key product metrics and make data-driven decisions to optimize features.

Person Specifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Business management or a related field.
• Minimum 2+ years of experience as a Product Owner or in a similar role.
• Knowledge of software development processes, software lifecycle management, and business analysis.
• Strong self-learning ability and interest in emerging technologies.
• Excellent communication and change management skills.
• Strong prioritization and problem-solving abilities.
• Experience using product and project management tools.
• User-focused mindset with a results-oriented approach.
• Adaptability and strategic thinking capability.
