What you need to do
- Ensure all outlets achieve assigned sales targets through effective planning, monitoring, and team performance management.
- Analyse sales trends, identify gaps, and implement corrective actions to drive business growth.
- Drive category performance and improve customer conversion rates across all outlets.
- Ensure all key cost lines are effectively managed within approved budgets.
- Monitor shrinkage, overtime, utilities, and other operational expenses to ensure cost control.
- Conduct regular cost reviews and implement cost optimisation initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with financial policies, procedures, and internal control standards.
- Ensure all outlets maintain required operational standards, comply with SOPs, and audit scores.
- Drive consistent execution of operational processes across the cluster and ensure audit readiness.
- Ensure the delivery of a consistent, high-quality customer shopping experience across all outlets.
- Monitor customer feedback and implement improvements to enhance service quality and satisfaction.
- Build and maintain a strong talent pipeline, including succession planning, coaching, and capability development.
- Provide strong leadership across Outlet Managers, drive performance culture, ensure execution discipline, and lead continuous improvement initiatives, including operational routines such as the 5 Pillar Morning Walk.
What you need
- Bachelor’s degree in business management, operations management, or a related field
- Professional qualifications in supply Chain, retail, or operations management will be an added advantage
- A minimum 4 years of experience in retail or operation management.
- Proven experience in managing multiple outlets or clusters
- Strong exposure to sales, cost control, and operational management
- Experience in leading large teams in a fast-paced environment
- Strong understanding of retail operations, sales, and cost management
- Proven ability to lead and develop teams across multiple locations
- Strong capability to maintaining operational standards and drive excellence in execution
- Excellent planning, coordination, and execution discipline
- Ability to work with cross-functional teams and influence stakeholders
- Proven ability to drive change and continuous improvement
