What you need to do
- Perform cash audits as per the audit planner and communicate the relevant findings to the management team.
- Prepare audit reports on findings and circulate them in a timely manner for management review.
- Verify fixed assets and report on findings.
- Visit relevant centers periodically and perform audits to ensure process compliance and report on findings accordingly.
- Perform ad hoc audit work based on requests from the management team.
- Perform routine audits on cash, inventory, and other controls at the Keells Distribution Centre.
- Carryout investigations on frauds and malpractices and report on findings.
What you need to do
- A Diploma/Degree in Management or Finance, or a part qualification in CIMA, CA, or AAT.
- Minimum of 2–3 years’ experience in an audit-related role.
- Experience in an audit firm or the retail industry will be an added advantage.
- Sound knowledge of modern internal audit practices and methodologies.
- Ability to communicate in Tamil will be an added advantage.
- Knowledge of labour laws and regulations will be an added advantage.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain issues clearly and build credibility with stakeholders.
- Willingness to travel to outstation centers and outlets.
