Executive - Social media & Customer engagement
Job Responsibilities
- Support the development and execution of a cohesive social media strategy across all platforms, aligned with overall business goals.
- Stay updated on the latest platform trends, best practices, and emerging technologies to ensure our channels remain innovative and relevant.
- Collaborate with cross functional teams to highlight initiatives and drive compelling storytelling.
- Engage with customers on social media platforms by actively listening, responding, and fostering a positive brand image.
- Monitor social media for brand mentions, competitor activity, trending topics, and relevant keywords.
- Create, edit, and publish engaging content for platforms like Facebook, Instagram Stories, and WhatsApp Channel to entertain and inform the community.
- Analyze performance metrics of social media campaigns, using data-driven insights to refine strategies and optimize content effectiveness.
Person Specifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Communication, Marketing, or a related field from a recognized institution.
- Proven experience in roles such as Social Media Intern, Social Media Analyst, or Social Media Strategist.
- Strong understanding of engagement metrics, KPIs, and social media analytics.
- Exceptional research skills for content strategy development.
- Excellent proofreading, editing, and content creation skills.
- Proficiency in managing social media advertising campaigns.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
- In depth understanding of platform specific algorithms and trends.
- Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail.
- Prior experience in brand awareness initiatives is preferred.
