The Company manufactures a range of sausages, meatballs, hams, crumbed products, and soya range products under the “Elephant House” and “Keells Krest” brands.
Job Responsibilities
- Assist the financial accounting and finalizing the daily, weekly accounting tasks and monthly financial / statutory accounting packs in a timely manner
- Assist the audit compliance and implementation and adherence to internal controls
- Actively involve and complete weekly and month end reconciliations (Debtors, creditors, bank accounts, intercompany accounts etc.) and manage the AP and GL functions
- Attend to the Treasury functions
- Assist with preparing weekly, monthly, quarterly, mid-year cash flow and financial forecasts
Person Specifications
- Part qualification of CA/CIMA/ACCA.
- A minimum of 3 years financial accounting experience along with tax and auditing experiences required
- Knowledge of MS office and knowledge of SAP will be an added advantage.
- The candidate should posses excellent communicational, interpersonal, leadership and cross-functional relationship skills
